Peaceful Community Acupuncture for Summer

  • Soft Space Wellness 3 Bow Market Way Somerville, MA, 02143 United States (map)

✨👂🌱 We and our beloved resident acupuncturist, Joanna, invite you to the next installment of her recurring auricular (ear!) acupuncture series! This balancing reset will allow you to settle into your body, and peacefully reflect as we transition from spring to summer (beach days, here we come!)

This offering is all about coming together, connecting inward, setting personal intentions, and discussing this seasonal transition through an acupuncture lens. Joanna will gently guide you through the NADA protocol, a renowned 5-needle auricular treatment pioneered by the Black Panthers that is deeply soothing to mind, body, and heart. Together, we'll open our hearts to the joy of summer while settling into peace within. 💕🌻

🪷 Once the acupuncture needles are in, the time will be a space to fully unwind, rest, and come home to yourself through a guided meditation and the calming support of the needles. We'll wrap up our time together with brief community connection and reflection. 🫂🪞

💓Whether you were there with us last time, have experienced Acupuncture treatments before, or are brand new and just dipping your toes (or in this case, ears!) in, we welcome you and hope to see you there!

⛲Please bring water, soft layers or even a blanket, and arrive having recently eaten. You will be laying down, so you may also choose to bring a blanket to roll under your knees for lumbar support.

A note: if you are nervous about needles, this may not be an ideal space for trying acupuncture for the first time, as auricular needles can sometimes be pinchy. Please reach out to Joanna (joanna@milkweedacupuncture.com) if you're unsure whether this is right for you or have any questions. 💖

🎟The cost of this event is on a pay-what-you-can sliding scale of $50-$75, and the maximum capacity is 8 people.
